HTC and Valve Corporation have developed the Vive, which was first unveiled in March 2015 at HTC's Mobile World Congress keynote.
Connected to a gaming PC, this headset physically utilizes the space of a room (using motion tracking sensors) to immerse the user in a virtual world and allowing them to navigate naturally within in. Users can walk around and use motion tracked handheld controllers to realistically manipulate objects and communicate with the immersive environment.
The initial launch kit includes three VR experiences: Google’s Tilt Brush, Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives and Fantastic Contraption.
