Blended Learning Solutions

Enhancing your Training Programmes

Blended learning is a professional approach to learning and training that combines face to face learning with innovative digital media, making your content easier to fully digest and explore. Digital data capture also allows you to track your users’ reactions in real-time and manage their learning in the long-term.

At PAULEY we understand the challenges faced by Learning & Development Management when looking to develop their existing training portfolio beyond the traditional classroom, on-the-job and in-house programs, and move towards an immersive digital training platform. PAULEY are industry leaders in this area and are uniquely positioned to provide innovative and engaging courses for numerous training areas i.e. health and safety; driver training, maintenance and fault finding.

Using Mixed Reality Technologies to form a blended learning approach can significantly enhance any training programme. Virtual Reality (VR) can be applied to any kind of training and works particularly well for simulation, providing the opportunity for the user to ‘learn by doing’ in a safe and risk-free environment.

PAULEY adopted a Blended Learning approach with NTAR/Siemens and have produced a large number of training courses for them.

Case Study: NTAR - Blended Learning

In October 2015, The National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) opened its doors to its inaugural apprentices in a bid to solve the burgeoning skills crisis in the rail industry. The £7m state-of-the-art academy in Northampton is a joint public-private initiative between the UK Government and Siemens Plc. The Academy were keen to develop high quality, immersive and interactive learning solutions that would ensure it became an international Centre of Excellence for UK rail training. NTAR commissioned PAULEY to develop a range of courses for rail engineers in an innovative and compelling way. NTAR were looking for exciting solutions involving gameplay and interactive 3D elements which could be used online and on mobile devices.
